A Thriving Community for Beekeeping Enthusiasts

Sneem Beekeepers, founded in 2010, is a thriving community of 46 members dedicated to sustainable beekeeping. Meeting monthly at the local community centre and club apiary, we offer educational talks, hands-on workshops, and open discussions for both beginners and experienced beekeepers.

We actively engage in local events, including the St. Patrick’s Parade, Sneem Festival, and Derrynane Festival, promoting biodiversity and local produce. Our workshops and field days provide practical training and mentorship.

Committed to pollinator-friendly practices, we collaborate with schools, environmental groups, and the community to support and educate on the vital role of bees. Whether you're a hobbyist, farmer, or nature enthusiast, we welcome you to join us in protecting and promoting honeybees for future generations.
